Meet JOEY - Paws Behind Bars Trained
JOEY is a 22-month-old, male Great Dane. He was surrendered to us by a nice family who didn't realize what life was going to be like with active young children and a "small pony" all under one roof. JOEY currently weighs 105 lbs but will easily gain another 20+!
The most exceptional quality about JOEY is his temperament. Despite his youthful age, his energy level is moderate. And while he has spurts of puppy energy, he has already mastered the art of "couch potatoing." He is very gentle and tolerant and would be fine with older children. Other dogs? He's pictured here in his foster home with a young Doodle. Best friends? You bet! He's a real "huggy" guy. A fenced-in yard is a must. He's young and plenty of good exercise is needed to help him develop.
