Meet TIA - Paws Behind Bars Trained

TIA is a 3-year-old female, Standard Poodle. She came to us from a breeding operation but somehow retained her wonderful, friendly, social demeanor. She is a great size at 48 lbs, and she's starting to really regain her condition. She was thin with a heavily-matted coat when we got her - but no more! Her beautiful curly coat is growing back clean and a light cream color.

Due to her exceptional personality, we decided to put her in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Every once in a while we get a dog who shows great therapy dog potential and Tia has done nothing but live up to this potential. She loves all people. Nothing rattles her. Her inmate can take her everywhere, and she walks right along! Her obedience training is complete, and now she's working on "hugs" and the like. Gentle? You couldn't ask for more.

Tia is ready for adoption. Whether she becomes a therapy dog or not, she'll make an exceptional companion.
