Meet TIPPY TOES - Paws Behind Bars Prison Dog Trained

TIPPY TOES is a 7-month-old, female Beagle mix. We don't know what the mix is, but we're pretty sure Beagle is in there. She came to us from a family in rural KY with too many dogs. This poor little thing spent much of the day tied to a tree. She is now with us and is a pleasure. She weighs 19 lbs and won't mature to over 30. She's happy, loves the world, and is ready to go.

TIPPY TOES has a lot of puppy energy, and, therefore, she "caught a ride" into our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Or it might just be she's just that happy and can't contain herself...hard to tell. After a couple of weeks with her inmate we now know she is incredibly smart and eager to learn. You might think she can't stay still until you ask her for a "place command" and then she's still as a statue. Her inmate hasn't found a limit to what she can learn.

Tippy will need a family who has time to spend with her. She's social and is at a size where she can go anywhere with you. She also thoroughly enjoys the company of other dogs. We feel children over five (5) years will be fine. Finally, if you want to simply let her entertain you, she will; she's got all the moves!
