Meet BEAR BONEZ

BEAR BONEZ is a 6-year-old, mixed breed male who came to use via the shelter. BEAR was allowed to roam the countryside, and, on one event, got shot through the leg. After repeated requests to please keep him home and safe, the shelter chose to hang onto him. He's with us now, and he will make someone a wonderful companion.

He's a nice size at 40 lbs and is a little on the quiet, timid side. At 6-years-old, he's well past the puppy stage and has a nice moderate energy level. So far, we've seen no signs of reactivity to other dogs. We ask that his next home have a nice fenced yard so "roaming the countryside" is no longer a part of his daily routine.

If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of our online application, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.  We review and schedule meet and greets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
