Meet TRIXIE - Paws Behind Bars Trained

TRIXIE is a 4-year-old female Hound mix. She came to us from the shelter with two puppies on board. The pups have been adopted, and now its Mom's turn to find a forever home. She is beautifully marked, a little over 50 lbs, and has a cute bobbed tail. To really polish her off, we put her through our prison dog training program where she quickly picked up her sit, down, come and stay. She is also crate, leash, and house trained. She's very endearing, gentle, and kind and will be a great fit for many family situations.

If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of our online application, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.  We review and schedule meet and greets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
