Meet AMELIA

AMELIA is a 3-month-old Doberman female pup. She currently weighs 20 lbs. She came to us with two other Doberman puppies when the woman who purchased them decided 3 puppies was too much. No telling what her intentions were, but it doesn't matter, now they're with us. AMELIA is in a great foster home where she's being introduced to house, crate, and leash-training. She's getting to know the other dogs in the house and what "proper" play looks like. She is very much a puppy with the energy that comes with being a puppy. She is working through her social skills (a challenge when you're only 3 months old and this is the 3rd home you've lived in). But after time to settle, her foster mom says, while she can have her bossy moments, she's also affectionate and eager to please.

AMELIA's forever home should be with a family that has breed experience. Dobie's are smart, strong, and large! They can be strong-willed and she'll need a family that will provide direction and boundaries. They thrive on obedience training. Mutual respect goes along way with a breed like this if you're willing to make the investment. She'll need a fenced -n yard for proper exercise, and she'll get big.
